Why is my card being declined when I recently used it?
There are a few common reasons why cards get declined:
- Our system uses zip code validation for additional security. Please verify that the billing zip code associated with your card issuer is identical to the one you've entered when adding the card to your InstantCab account.
- Your card may have a daily transaction limit in place, and your InstantCab transaction could be exceeding that limit.
- Your card's verification value (CVV) number could be wrong. When new cards are issued, companies will issue a new CVV number while the card number may stay the same.
